I have been teaching English at American Indian Magnet school since 2021. For the 2023-24 school year, I will be working with fourth- and fifth-grade students. I graduated from St. John’s University with a BA in history and political science and from the University of Minnesota with an MA in second language education. I love being a language teacher and really enjoy working with our multilingual learners at AIMS.

Before coming to AIMS, I spent two years as an English teacher in Cambodia through the Peace Corps and, additionally, worked as a journalist in Phnom Penh.

I now live in Saint Paul but grew up in southwestern Minnesota. In my free time, I am a big fan of the Twins and Timberwolves and enjoy birdwatching.
