My name is Michelle King and I love teaching Pre-K at the American Indian Magnet School. I started at AIMS in 2016 but have been teaching in Early Childhood Education for over 20 years. I grew up in East St Paul and have strong ties to the AIMS community. I received my Elementary Education K-6 degree from Northwestern University in St Paul. I received my Pre -Primary License from Metropolitan State University, also in St Paul. My family is from Fond du Lac Indian Reservation in northern Minnesota. I love sharing my Ojibwe language and culture with students.  Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, being outdoors, cooking, reading and traveling.  I look forward to partnering with my Pre-K families as they start their educational journey at AIMS.
