Hello! Han! Boozhoo! Nyob Zoo! Hola!

My name is Taylor Yang and I have taught at AIMS since 2018. My first year teaching at AIMS, I was the Building Substitute. I taught in all grades at our school, including elementary and middle school! The next three years I taught Kindergarten and then looped with past kinders into first grade! This year I am returning to Kindergarten! This will be my tenth year teaching. I attended college at Metropolitan State University and received my teaching license for Urban Early Childhood Education. I attended Concordia University Saint Paul and earned my Masters in Trauma and Resilience in an Educational Setting. I actually attended SPPS as a child and grew up on the East Side of Saint Paul. I loved my educators and learning community so much that during college I decided that SPPS was where I wanted to be.  

Early learning is of the utmost importance to me. With a solid foundation, our students can achieve anything they could possibly imagine and I love watching them grow! I cannot wait to meet you!

When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family and friends. I recently became a mom of a beautiful baby boy!
