Mr. Singer

My name is Lyndon Carson Singer and I moved here in 2017 from my home state of Montana.  I am from a Plains Indian Horse Culture.  My father is Crow and my mother is Chippewa-Cree.  I am an enrolled member of the Crow Nation, and was born and raised on the Crow Reservation.  In addition to living in Montana, I lived in the state of Washington, New York, Wisconsin, and now Minnesota.  I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Montana State University – Bozeman.

I have been successfully teaching mainly elementary education, and have been a principal, for a little over 20 years in Wisconsin, Montana, and Minnesota.  My wife Nancy (she’s a teacher also) and I have 4 boys together; 3 are adults and the youngest is 16.  I enjoy hiking, camping, hunting, and riding my bikes at every opportunity, and traveling throughout the USA when we’re not teaching.  I love teaching and learning at AIMS and hope stay for many years to come.  Aho, Mr. Singer!
