Welcome to Team Whiteis!

I am excited to get to know you and your child in this educational partnership! I believe in building strong relationships with students and families in order to best support both the academic and social & emotional growth of each child. Every family and student brings their unique experiences, strengths, and personalities that contribute to our diverse classroom community. 

I live in, and grew up in St Paul, and even attended St. Paul Public Schools! I graduated from St. Paul Central High School. I received my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from the College of St. Catherine's in 2006 and began teaching in SPPS that fall. I joined the amazing community at Crossroads in 2011. I completed my Masters in Education through Grand Canyon University in Arizona.

I have 4 children- Ariana, Carter, Marshall and Laila. I enjoy watching my children’s sporting events which include football, basketball, track and dance. I also enjoy traveling, camping, playing board games and watching movies. 

I believe it is essential that there is clear, consistent, and open communication. The Classdojo app wil be the primary mode of communication with families.
