Hello! My name is Cassie Heeringa and I will be your child’s teacher this year. I am excited to begin a new school year with you and your child here at Crossroads Montessori!

I received a BA in Elementary Education with an emphasis in early childhood. I taught in Colorado for three years, then in Utah for 4 years.  I've been teaching in St. Paul Public Schools since 2015.   After teaching traditional first grade, second grade and kindergarten for seven years, I decided to pursue Early Childhood Montessori training at the University of Wisconsin, River Falls. My favorite thing about teaching Montessori is being able to follow the child.
