Hello families,

I am Ms. Pine and this is my 4th year of teaching and my 1st year in Saint Paul Public Schools! You can reach me by email at shaina.pine@spps.org or by phone. The school's phone number is (651) 767-8540. Some of my favorite parts of teaching are using technology and art to learn, interactive read alouds, and what I like to call "lightbulb moments", or the moment when the learning clicks and a student understands something new. I love seeing a student's confidence grow! 

We learn a lot of very exciting things in 1st grade! During the day, we have morning meeting, a phonics lesson, math, reading, reading small groups, social studies, science, and social emotional lessons with myself and with our school counselor once a week. Our lunch this year is from 10:25-10:45 and recess is from 10:45-11:15.
