Greetings Crossroads Montessori and Crossroads Science Families,

It is an honor and privilege to be a part of this beautiful learning community. I have loved spending time getting to know the staff, students, families and the surrounding community. I have found that as a school, we have strong traditions and rich diversity within our Crossroads Elementary environment. My hope is that all students in our two unique schools thrive, feel safe, valued, connected and challenged.

I have spent the past 28 years (more than half in St. Paul Public Schools) in the field of education. I consider myself a life-long learner.  I continue to learn every day by reading, discussing, and listening to others. I especially enjoy learning from our students! I believe in the power of building strong relationships and collaboration to enhance our school community. I hope that even though we are currently in a pandemic, we can find ways to connect with you to learn about your hopes and dreams for our two schools.

I am passionate about student learning and believe that successful school communities are built on positive relationships with staff, with students, with their families, and with our school community. I also have high academic and behavioral expectations for students and will work in cooperation with staff, students, and families to help each student at Crossroads have a positive school experience.

I enjoy so many things about working at Crossroads but when I am not at Crossroads, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have 2 boys and a girl. My husband Rob and I spend many weekends and evenings watching our 3 high schoolers in their many activities. We also enjoy traveling together as a family, playing board games and spending time with extended family and friends.

Personally, I enjoy reading, binge watching Netflix, celebrating other’s accomplishments, travel with girlfriends and dinners out with family and friends. I truly look forward to getting a chance to meet you and get to know you a bit more so we can talk about the things that bring us happiness and joy.
