Mr. Joseph Bredice

Hello, hello hello. My name is Joseph Bredice, and I am a Special Education teacher at Crossroads. I have the honor of working with students and families at all grade levels at Crossroads. I have been teaching at Crossroads since 2017.

I am a graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato. In 2015, I received my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, focusing on Elementary Education, Special Education, and Corrections. After graduating, I applied for the grad program at  Minnesota State University, Mankato, where I specialized in Emotional Behaviors Disorder or EBD for short. I graduated from MNSU's grad program in 2017.

I live with my lovely wife, Maddie, our beautiful baby girl, Quinn, and our son, Callahan. When I'm not home or working, I love being active. I play Semi-Pro Football; I'm in multiple Flag Football Leagues and City Basketball leagues. I also play golf and a little pickleball. I come from two large families, my biological family of seven, in which I'm the 3rd youngest, and my adoptive family, where I'm the oldest of seven.

I always wanted to be a teacher, but I didn't know in what capacity. First, I wanted to be a math teacher, but they started mixing letters with numbers; I thought, "NO, THANK YOU." Then I tried to be a Social Studies Teacher, but that changed when I was introduced to Special Education, specifically, students with EBD. Thus my long journey began!
