Hello!

My name is Brita Eckman. I am the English Language (EL) teacher who works with bilingual students in from the Crossroads Science Program. Believe it or not, I have been at Crossroads since we opened in 1999! My role is to support the language and literacy development of bilingual students. We work with 4 domains of language usage- listening, speaking, reading, and writing. I love working with kids and their families to make Crossroads a positive, inclusive, multilingual learning environment.
