At the Online Elementary School, we offer art, physical education, and science classes to students in grades K-5. Students are exposed to a wide variety of topics and are able to participate in art, physical education, and science activities. Each specialist teacher meets with the students to teach topics specific to their content area.

Art: Students in grades K-5 have many exciting projects, media, cultures, and famous artists to explore throughout the year. Each project integrates the Art Standards and use of the Principles and Elements.  Our visual art projects are also integrated with other content areas. 

Physical Education: As a Physical Education staff, we teach the whole student, not just their body and movement. Exposing students to various physical activities, sports, and methods of fitness can better provide enjoyment of physical activity, as well as build social, psychomotor, and cognitive skills. With our energy, skills we teach, students gain competence and confidence in a wide variety of physical activities in multiple environments that benefit the healthy development of the whole student.

Science: Science classes are offered to all students (K-5) at the Online Elementary School. As Science specialists, we teach and provide instruction to our students to help them explore the world around them, through various science concepts. Some of the concepts that students will learn during our class include life science, earth/space science, engineering, physical properties of matter, and many more exciting topics. We encourage our students' curiosity as well as fostering a child’s logical development through the learning of the natural sciences.
