Teaching Philosophy

Hello! I am Ms. Joson and I teach General Music at the SPPS Online School. My goal in Music is to create a fun, safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for musical skills to grow and thrive. Through teaching musical standards such as rhythm and melody, and introducing students to multiple types and genres of music, I hope to spark a life long love and appreciation for music of all forms. 

Educational Background

I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Vocal Music Education (K-12) and Music Performance from North Central University.

Personal Bio

After school, I work as a musical theatre/opera performer at several local companies. I enjoy cooking, baking, and playing with my dog! I also enjoy learning the Japanese language, culture, and cuisine.
