I'm Mrs. Wothe. I've been in education for 20 years. I earned my BS in Accounting (Finance) and Secondary Education-Social Studies from MSUM. I also earned my MS in Curriculum/Instruction and Ed Leadership credentials from MSUM. I didn't start my career in education but in business. I worked for Cargill, Inc and Southwest Bank in Fargo, ND before moving to the Detroit Lakes area. My first teaching job was a long-term substitute at Lake Park, MN after 9/11 events activated the National Guard and I was hired to fill in for a Guard Captain, teaching Civics and Driver's Ed. I then went to teach at Waubun, MN on the White Earth Indian Reservation for 13 years before becoming Superintendent/K-12 Principal at Circle of Life Academy, a Bureau of Indian Education school. From there, I was the middle school principal at Menahga for 6 years. I am so excited to be teaching again and to teach with St. Paul Public Schools!
