Hello Families and Visitors to my page!

I have been teaching since 1990. In 2012, I became a National Board Certified Teacher in the area of Literacy.  I earned my B.A. Degree from The College of St. Catherine and my Master's Degree from The University of St. Thomas.  I have two children, three cats, and nine chickens.  I've been married since 1993 to my best friend, Dan.  Some of our family call him, "Farmer Dan". My husband and I have a certified organic farm and we sell our produce, homemade jams/jellies, honey, and maple syrup at a few local MPLS Farmers Markets.  I love my family and I love teaching.  I also LOVE to read, cook, do puzzles, watch my chickens, and get a brisk walk in as often as possible. I have taught grades K-6 in different capacities over the years.

Kindergarten is a wonderful year for children.  We will all learn so much together and have a great time doing it!
