Hello, my name is Nicole Cahill and I am the new content lead at Hamline Elementary School. This is my fourteenth year in education, and my first year in the Saint Paul Public School District. Originally from Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, I went to college at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I then taught in the Madison Public School system for five years, before moving back home to be closer to my family. For the next two years, I worked for the North Saint Paul school district. Most recently I worked as a literacy coach for Mounds View Public Schools for the past six years. I have my Masters in Literacy from Hamline University, and am thrilled at the opportunity to work closely with the University once again. In my role as content lead I will have the privilege of collaborating with classroom teachers in planning and implementing instruction through the lens of Culturally Responsive teaching and inquiry methods. I look forward to meeting and serving each student at Hamline Elementary!
