Hello,

My name is Mrs. Douglas, and this is my second year at Hamline Elementary. I have previously taught kindergarten and first grade for five years. I believe in creating a classroom environment where students feel safe, welcomed, and celebrated! One of my favorite things about being a teacher is building relationships with my students and watching them grow in different ways throughout the year.

I am originally from Wisconsin and moved here in 2013 to attend the University of Minnesota. I received my undergraduate and master's degrees there in elementary education. In 2022, I completed my administrative license at Mankato and I hope to be a principal some day! When I am not at school, I love to spend time with my family and friends. Some of my favorite activities are camping, cooking, and snuggling up with a good book and my cat.
