Hi! My name is Jill van Koolwijk and I am originally from Germany. I love working at Hamline Elementary School​ as an ELL teacher helping my EL students feel supported and successful! For many years, I have worked in schools around the Twin Cities as an ELL teacher and German teacher, but SPPS is where I feel at home. I received my masters degree in Second Languages and Cultures from the University of Minnesota and enjoy being around people of different nationalities and backgrounds. I have three children and my husband Will is a film and video maker in St. Paul.
