Greetings from Speech and Language! I am the speech-language pathologist (SLP) at Hamline Elementary and work with students from PreK to 5th grade who are having significant difficulties in communicating.
Communication Disorders include difficulty with:
- Listening Comprehension
- Oral Expression
- Stuttering
- Voice Disorders
- Articulation/Phonological
About the SLP: I am originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I completed my undergraduate degree at Western Michigan University and completed my graduate degree at University of Minnesota-Duluth. I served one year in the public schools in Greeley, Colorado before moving to the Twin Cities. I've been an SLP since 2012. In my spare time, I enjoy biking, yoga, writing, and watching the Green Bay Packers. I have a 3-year-old puppy named Murphy Lee Jones. This is my first year at Hamline Elementary and I am excited to get to know the students and their families this year.
"Talk is cheap. Communication is priceless."
