  • Discovery Club

Hamline Elementary students are served by the Rondo Discovery Club Hub

Discovery Club is fee-based program administered by the Community Education Department of Saint Paul Public Schools.

This program provides after school care from 2:00-6:00pm for students in grades PreK-5; it is a fee-based program with financial assistance available to eligible families. The talented staff provide a creative, supportive environment for students and their positive energy is an asset to our school community.

    From the Discovery Club Website:

"Discovery Club's mission is to provide out-of-school time Child Care in a safe, fun, nurturing environment that supports children's learning and development.

Children participate in a variety of academic enrichment, recreational and cultural activities that informally support learning and social development. Life and social skills, such as cooperation, teamwork, and problem solving are fostered in a caring and accepting environment. Additionally, Discovery Club staff connect with school-day teachers to better support children's learning, including time for homework."

Students can choose from a variety of activities within the rec center space, all under the supervision of an amazing staff.
