Ms. Vang has been teaching for 25 years. Her teaching experiences include teaching grades 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. She has a degree in Child Psychology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and a Masters of Education Degree from the University of St. Thomas. Ms. Vang currently teaches 3rd grade.  

When Ms. Vang is not teaching, she loves to travel. Some of her favorite places that she's been to are France, Switzerland, Thailand, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. She also loves the outdoors. You may find her hiking or biking on the many trails around the Twin Cities. 

Ms. Vang's family came from Laos as refugees in 1979 when she was 6 years old.  She grew up in St. Paul with two older brothers and a younger sister. She is a proud Saint Paul Public Schools graduate.

Ms. Vang feels fortunate to be at EXPO. She loves working with her fantastic peers, students, and parents. The teachers enjoy helping students learn and watching them grow and be inspired in their learning. She is looking forward to the 2023-24 school year!
