Welcome to Fifth Grade!

This will be Mrs. Gorder's 17th year teaching 5th Grade at EXPO Elementary! She has been in the Saint Paul Public School District for 18 years. Mrs. Gorder has a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Augsburg College, and a Master of Arts in Classroom Instruction/Reading from Concordia University.  

When she is not at EXPO, Mrs. Gorder enjoys spending time with her family - her husband, her son, and her 3-year-old Labrador. She loves to be outside, either going on a nice hike, boating with her family, or chasing her son and Lab around the back yard! Mrs. Gorder LOVES doing puzzles with a cup of coffee, and spending time with family and friends.  Going to the theater, trying a new restaurant, or an old favorite, are also fun-filled activities for Mrs. Gorder. She loves reading a good book!

Mrs. Gorder was born and raised in Saint Paul, MN, and is a proud graduate of Saint Paul Public Schools.  Saint Paul has her heart, and always will. Mrs. Gorder is the youngest of three and loves spending time with her niece and nephews. Laughter is a big part of her lifestyle! 

Mrs. Gorder enjoys working with the EXPO community, families, and staff. She loves spending her days with her fifth graders, and watching them grow as scholars, leaders, and positive community members. Each day is full of learning and inspiration!
