Ms. Mary Ross has taught at EXPO for 28 years.  She has been in the education field teaching ECFE, Kindergarten and first grade for 33 years.  Mary received her Bachelors degree in education from the University of Minnesota, Duluth.  She received her MEd from St. Mary's University and her Masters in Leadership from Concordia University.  In addition to her degrees, she also achieved her National Board Certification.

When not teaching Kindergarten, Ms. Mary enjoys paddleboarding, running, hiking, reading and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings. If it's outdoorsy and active, Ms. Mary will likely enjoy it!

Ms. Mary lives in Lake St Croix Beach, MN with her husband Steve, son Harrison and their dog Gabby.  As a family, they like to travel, go to the cabin, play Scrabble, cribbage, and go for bike rides.

After 33 years working in education, there is no place where Ms. Mary would rather be than teaching at EXPO Elementary!  Being a Kindergarten teacher is both an incredible responsibility and a tremendous delight.  There is no better feeling than being able to introduce kids to the wonder of learning while fostering their creativity and independence.  Teaching children to manage the lunchroom, open a locker, problem solve, read, write and make friends makes Ms. Mary smile each and every day.
