Michael Hartogh has been teaching third through sixth grades at EXPO Elementary for twenty-three years. He has a Master’s of Education Degree from Saint Mary’s University and a degree in Elementary Education and Criminal Justice from Hamline University.

When not at EXPO the educator enjoys canoeing, reading, and being outside. Mr. Hartogh's favorite way to begin each day is with a great cup (or two) of coffee.

Although he grew up in Iowa, Mr. Hartogh has lived in Saint Paul for the past twenty-five years. He is married with two adult children.

Michael feels very fortunate to work at a school with great parent support and a diverse student population.
