Kata Shasky has been at EXPO for 12 years and has worked in the Saint Paul Public Schools since 2004. Kata received her Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado, and her Master’s in Early Childhood Education through Capella University. In between college and coming to EXPO, Kata taught at a Science School in California, and spent a year teaching in Seoul, South Korea.

When Kata is not at EXPO she spends time with family, friends, and neighbors. She enjoys traveling to new places and exploring the cities around her.

Kata lives in Roseville with her SPPS teacher husband, and three kids: ages 10, 6 and 6. They enjoy their summers off together spending time at Kata’s family cabin and exploring the local lakes and parks.

After working in several schools, Kata feels grateful to be at EXPO. She enjoys the staff, students, and families that are a part of the EXPO Community and looks forward to many years to come!
