Education: John graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Elementary Education. He earned a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and his principal licensure also from the University of Minnesota. Go Gophers!

Career: John started his career in teaching in the Roseville School District, before being hired on as full-time teacher with the Saint Paul Public Schools. He was a third grade teacher at Maxfield Elementary school. He served as a School Improvement Specialist at the district level for 2 years. He served as Assistant Principal at The Heights Community School and Principal at Farnsworth Aerospace PreK-4 campus.

Family: John was born and raised on the east side of Saint Paul. John is a proud graduate from the Saint Paul Public Schools. He attended Parkway Elementary, Battle Creek Middle School, and Harding High School. Go Knights! John currently resides in Saint Paul and enjoys living in and supporting the community that he serves. His hobbies include spending time with friends and family, going to his family cabin, and hanging out with his dog Leo.
