Johnson High School students have three courses that they share in common.

We welcome all freshmen to their initial course, Freshman FOCUS. This course introduces all ninth graders to high school life and to the culture of Johnson High School. We also work with the Link Crew, a volunteer group of Johnson juniors and seniors who work with incoming students to orient them to the culture of Johnson High School.

During their Junior year, students take Frameworks. This class allows students to explore educational opportunities available to them after high school.

Every Johnson student must complete a Senior Project as a graduation requirement. The Senior Finale is designed to support Seniors as they write their research paper, compile a portfolio and prepare their presentation.

Note that there are 2 other course opportunities for learning; AVID 9 and AVID 10.
