Hello!

I have been teaching at Johnson for eighteen years.  I taught Freshman Focus, Senior Finale, Economics, US Government, AP US History, CIS American History, World History and US History.  I love following politics and reading about US History.  Now in addition to teaching CIS American History, I also am the Work Based Learning Teacher at Johnson.  See me for information about the Career Pathways Program!

I am originally from Hutchinson, Minnesota.  I attended the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus and earned a BA in History and an MA in Curriculum and Instruction.  I have taught at several schools in Minnesota but have enjoyed my time at Johnson the most.  I student taught here with Mr. Greg Erickson many years ago.  

I live on the east side with my husband, two daughters, and our dog.  I enjoy gardening, reading, camping, playing piano, spending time with my family, and traveling.
