Gaozuapa Lee - LD Special Education Teacher

Hello.

My name is Gao Lee, one of the Special Education teachers at Johnson High School.

I am a Reading teacher and Co-teach English 10. I started working at Johnson High School in 2019 as a full-time LD teacher. Prior to Johnson High School, I was a tutor/coach at Harding for two years working with 9th and 10th grade students in reading and math. Followed after, I attended St. Thomas University through SPPS's SUTR Program did my student teaching residency at Farnsworth Upper Middle School focused on students with Reading IEP goals. I became a teacher because I love working with students and seeing them grow as learners and individuals. I cannot wait to be supporting and teaching more students in more coming years. 

Things about me: I love to travel, go hiking and camping. Spending time with family is important as I come from a big family.
