Hello!  My name is Melissa Persson and this is my first year teaching at Harding.  I've taught at both Washington and Como High Schools in St. Paul. Before that, I was in Minneapolis for many years.   I have taught almost all ages and English language levels to amazing students all around the globe. I love teaching but also love learning from my students.  I think students are super cool!

In my free time, I like to learn about different cultures, ideas and meet new people.  My husband, two daughters and I have always enjoyed traveling and do so whenever we get the chance.  We are also very interested in languages.

I also love being busy outside.  In the spring, summer and fall you can often find me working in my garden. In the winter, I am often out on a lake making iceskating paths and rinks.
