I was born in Vietnam. My family was sponsored by a Lutheran Church. I came to live in Saint Paul after deciding to study at the University of Minnesota. I started teaching in Saint Paul Public Schools in 1999. I attended the University of Minnesota with an undergraduate degree in American History with a minor in Asian History. I received my Masters in Education from the University of Saint Thomas.
I enjoy learning and growing with my students. I love hearing their stories and their life experiences. When I'm not working, you can find me walking my dog with my husband either at a dog park or at a State Park. You can also find me playing lots of board games with my son and my husband.
