¡Hola! ¡Bienvenidos al Primer Grado! Mi nombre es Kristin Carver y soy la maestra de quinto grado. He enseñado quinto grado, kindergarten y primer grado en el programa de doble inmersión en la escuela Wellstone desde 2012 cuando me mudé a St. Paul. Anteriormente, había enseñado varios grados y trabajado en varias posiciones en programas de doble inmersión en San Francisco, CA. 

Como la familia es la primera maestra de cualquier alumno, la comunicación y la cooperación entre el/la maestro/a y la familia es sumamente importante. Espero trabajar en equipo con cada familia para apoyar a su hijo/a de la mejor manera posible. 

Yo tengo dos hijos que asisten a las Escuelas Públicas de St. Paul. Mi esposo es de México y tenemos familiares de México, Ecuador, Chile y Colombia, así que el bilingüismo y la cultura son importantes para nosotros. En mi tiempo libre me gusta hacer ejercicio, tocar y escuchar música y compartir tiempo con familia y mis amigos. Tenemos una perra y dos gatas que nos entretienen mucho. 

Hello! My name is Kristin Carver and I am the fifth grade teacher here at Wellstone. Since moving to St. Paul in 2012, I have taught fifth grade, kindergarten and first grade at Wellstone. Prior to living here, I taught in a variety of grades and positions in a dual immersion programs in San Francisco, CA. 

Since the family is the first teacher of any student, communication and cooperation between the family and the teacher is extremely important. I hope to work as a team with each family to support the wellbeing and academic progress of each student in the best way possible. 

I have a daughter and a son who attend St. Paul Public Schools. My husband is from Mexico and we have family members from Mexico, Ecuador, Chile and Colombia, so bilingualism and culture are important to us. In my free time I like to exercise, play and listen to music and share time with family and friends. We have a dog and two cats that keep us very entertained.
