¡Hola! Mi nombre es Amber Glawe y yo soy una maestra en el programa de doble inmersión de Wellstone. He trabajado en Wellstone desde el año 2008. Soy la maestra de WINN (Lo Que Necesito Ahora) de lectura en el programa de inmersión dual. Soy de Sartell, Minnesota, y gradué con un bachillerato en Estudios Españoles de la Universidad de Minnesota, Minneapolis, en 2008 (¡Vamos Gophers!). Completé mi Maestría en Enseñanza con un énfasis en Estudiantes que Aprendan Inglés en Hamline University en 2013. Aprendí la mayoría de mi español durante mis años en la universidad con una programa de estudios en Toledo, España. También he viajado a México, Canadá, Costa Rica, Colombia, Guatemala, India, y muchos países de Europa. Cuando no estoy trabajando en la escuela, a mí me gusta pasar tiempo con mi familia y perro en nuestra cabaña en el norte de Minnesota y también a mí me encanta esquiar en el invierno.

Hi! My name is Amber Glawe and I am one of the teachers in the dual immersion program at Wellstone. I have worked at Wellstone since 2008. I am the WINN (What I Need Now) reading teacher for first and second grades in the dual immersion program. I am from Sartell, Minnesota, and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Spanish Studies from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, in 2008 (Go Gophers!). I completed my Master's of Teaching with a concentration in English Language Learners at Hamline University in 2013. I learned most of my Spanish in college, through a study program in Toledo, Spain. I have also traveled to Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica, Colombia, Guatemala, India, and various European countries. When I'm not working at school, I like to spend time with my family and dog at our cabin up north as well as cross-country ski in the wintertime.
