Elizabeth (Liz) Hucke is a PreK dual immersion teacher at Wellstone Elementary School. The educator has taught bilingual first grade, dual immersion first grade, and dual immersion second grade. The educator earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Master's Degree in Second Languages and Cultures and Dual Immersion Education from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2010.

When not at Wellstone, Ms. Hucke enjoys being with her family and friends, reading, camping, and playing soccer.

The educator is homegrown from Saint Paul and attended the Saint Paul Public Schools. Although a local girl, the PreK teacher has no plans to leave the area and is hoping to stay right here in Minnesota.

Collaboration and communication are very important to Liz. A quote that guides the educator is, "We all do better when we all do better" by Paul Wellstone.
