Nurse Moore graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is a Licensed School Nurse and a Public Health Nurse. The health care professional has worked in both home health care and nursing home settings as well as various hospitals. In addition to working at Wellstone, Nurse La Nora also works at a local hospital with patients who have suffered a stroke and/or are experiencing serious medical issues related to their back and spine.

When not at work, the health care provider enjoys being with her husband, children, and grandchildren; playing with her puppy named Babi, going for long walks with her husband; travelling to warmer climates with spectacular beaches and vacationing on Martha's Vineyard (one of her favorite destinations on earth). La Nora also loves many types of cuisine, with Thai food and sweet potato biscuits being two of her favorites.

Although Mrs. Moore has lived in Chicago and North Carolina, she has called Minnesota home since 1997 and Wellstone Elementary School her primary work environment since 2004. While she enjoys the Twin Cities, her sights are set on a warmer climate, preferably one with a beach.
