Welcome to our 5th Grade Community!  

This will be my 13th year at Horace Mann and I love this school!  I live in the city with my husband and our two sons. We enjoy exploring Minnesota and the great outdoors.

Fifth grade is an exciting year and it is so rewarding to watch students grow both academically and socially.   

I enjoy building our community, collaborating with families, and working together to build a strong foundation.  It is important for students to collaborate together  and to have lots of experiences to discover their talents and interests.  It is exciting to watch students build on their strengths and grow in their confidence.  Every student contributes to our community and I feel honored to be a part of it.

My hope is to provide a safe space to take risks, nurture their independence, and help them take flight in their last year of elementary school.
