Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Cecilia Glass and I am so excited to be your child’s Kindergarten teacher this year! I want to start off by introducing myself.

I was born and raised in Woodbury, MN where I still live today. I am the youngest of three with two older brothers, Jacob and Zachary. Jacob is now married to my sister-in-law Lauren, and together they have my nephew Easton, who is 4, and niece Madison, who is 1! Becoming an auntie has been one of my greatest joys. My brothers and I grew up playing many sports, hockey being our primary sport. I played for 16 years and still to this day is a huge part of my life.

I graduated from Saint Mary’s University in Winona, MN in 2016 with my degree in Elementary Education. After graduating, I worked as an Americorps Literacy Tutor at Randolph Heights Elementary for a year and then eventually moved to the position as a Special Education TA for three years. This is my third year teaching Kindergarten at Horace Mann. Aside from teaching, I am currently obtaining a Masters in Literacy Instruction at Concordia St. Paul.
