This year's first graders are busy learners. It is a year of tremendous growth! Students will start out the year learning about bees, phenology, communities, and our country. They will continue their learning by studying various cultures and traditions found all around the world.

We will spend a good amount of time finishing this statement: Culture is... The latter part of the year is full of learning about biographies, mapping, and the human body. All of this on top of becoming voracious readers, math problem solvers, and authors! First graders are learning and practicing ways to "Bee" Responsible, "Bee" Respectful, "Bee" Safe, and "Bee" Kind.
