Hi! I'm Danna Bergantine. This school year (2023-2024) is my 3rd at Captiol Hill.

The name of my class is WINN (What I Need Now/Next.) I provide intensive, focused instruction to middle school students on literacy fundamentals, including building and enriching phonemic awareness and vocabulary. This is done by pulling students out of other Language Arts classes for small group instruction. Learning Objectives of WINN

I am also proud to be a teacher-leader of our school's GSA (Gender and Sexuality Alliance,) which we call GLOW at Capitol Hill. 

Outside of school, I like to travel, go hiking and camping, casually work on my painting skills, and play video games. A fun fact about me is that I have lived and taught in Minnesota, Jakarta, and Tokyo.
