Welcome 3rd grade Families!

Hello and Welcome 3rd grade students and families!  My name is Jamie Peterson and I am excited about the school year. Third grade is a wonderful, exciting learning experience. 

A little bit about me.  My husband Jeremy and I have been married since 2017.  We have a daughter and a Chocolate Lab.  Over the summer I spent most of my time at the cabin on the lake, reading and tending to my garden.  This is my 16th year teaching, my 13th year at St. Paul and my 1st year at Capitol Hill.  I have taught K-3rd and Special Education.  I have a Masters in Differentiated Instruction and a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Special Education.  Something interesting about me is that I wrote and published a Children's Book during Covid.
