READ-A-THON
The Read-A-Thon is the PTO's largest fundraiser. Students can ask family, friends, and community members to sponsor them by making a donation, but fundraising is not required to participate in the Read-A-Thon. Please support your child as they count their reading minutes and participate in this fun schoolwide event!
SPFE Vote
The teachers union (Saint Paul Federation of Educators or SPFE) voted on February 15th whether or not to strike. If a strike was authorized, the earliest possible start date would be March 4th. The PTO takes no stance for or against a possible strike but would like to provide information to parents as able.
Further questions can be directed to SPFE organizers:

SPRING CARNIVAL
We need of a volunteer to take the lead on organizing this event. This individual will be given lots of help and other parents have already stepped forward to plan aspects of this event. But we do need a main coordinator! This fun school tradition cannot be made possible without volunteers! If you're interested in seeing this event come to life, please consider stepping forward!
8th GRADE RECOGNITION
A planning group has been formed, please join if you are able! We'd love to have as many voices as possible to contribute to this event.
