Bonjour! Bienvenue au monde de français! Welcome to the world of French at Hidden River Middle School. 

Je m'appelle Madame Patricia Teefy. I am very excited to be the French teacher at Hidden River Middle School School. I have been teaching French language and literature for over twenty-five  years from middle school to college students, English as a Second Language, and even a little Spanish. I also speak or have studied Italian, Portuguese, German, a tiny bit of Japanese, and Latin. Oui, I love languages!

I have one son and two cats, Kels and Tosh. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing pickleball, yoga and fitness, hiking, movies, cooking, gardening, travel, reading, and the outdoors.

And you? You are on an exciting voyage of discovery. As you learn to communicate in French with your classmates, teachers, and other French-speakers, you will meet people from many French-speaking countries and find out what it's like to live there, gain knowledge about diverse cultures, traditions, history, and language in the Francophone world, expand your horizons, develop your intellect, and prepare to become a citizen of the world.
