Hello! My name is Mee Kong. It is an honor to be part of the Hmong Dual Language Program at Phalen Lake Hmong Studies!  Over the years, I’ve taught mainstream grades 6^th, 3^rd and 2^nd and have also been an Academic Support teacher.  In 2011, I joined the Hmong Dual Language Program at Jackson Elementary School.  I’ve taught in St. Paul Public Schools since 1998.  It is a pleasure to be your child’s teacher, and nothing is as wonderful and as challenging as teaching in Hmong in 2^nd grade Hmong Dual Language. 

Besides teaching, I am a wife and mother of four grown adult children. I also have one son-in-law, one daughter-in-law and a beautiful granddaughter.  I enjoy traveling with my family and friends. A hobby of mine is capturing these beautiful memories. This year I hope to capture many wonderful moments with your child in second grade.  Please view photos via Seesaw.
