Welcome to Txuj Ci HMong Language & Culture Lower Campus! I'm Ms. Kaste, one of the two school counselors at our school. I primarily work with grades K-2, but am here to support all students. 

I have been at Txuj Ci Lower since 2021 and with SPPS since 2020. Throughout my training and career, I have worked with students and families at the elementary, middle, high school, and alternative high school levels, in general and special education, in community education, and within urban, suburban, and rural school communities. In addition to my work as a school counselor, I am a volunteer Crisis Counselor for Crisis Text Line.

I love being a school counselor! In my role, I support and advocate for all students in the domains of social/emotional, academic, and career/college exploration. I work with students individually, in small groups, and teach classroom counseling lessons. I strongly believe in and prioritize establishing authentic partnerships with families and communities.
