Welcome to the 2023 school year!  My name is Chong Xiong. The students call me Xib Hwb Xyooj. I started teaching at Phalen Lake right out of college in 1994. I have taught 2nd grade the longest. I’ve been teaching the HDL program for 11 years. I am married with four children. Three of my children went to Phalen. Some things I enjoy doing include sewing and/or ua paj ntaub, hiking, boating, camping, and reading.
