Mr. Win World

Welcome!

My name is Win World and I came to the United States in 2007 as a Karen refugee from Burma-Thailand.

I started with Phalen Lake in 2010 as a bilingual education assistant. I started with Saint Paul Public Schools as an on-call Karen interpreter in 2009. I graduated from Hamline University in 2017 with a Master's of Education. I earned my undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Bradford (Bradford College) in 2003.

I look forward to working together with all of you! Together, we can support students to succeed in their educational journey and in life. One thing that I am excited for this school year is that it's a great opportunity to be back at school.  I am grateful to work with the wonderful students, educators, and our Phalen community especially the all our families from diverse and unique cultures.

I live in Cottage Grove with my family. I have 2 intelligent, lovely, and artistic daughters (1st grader and 5th grader). I love to cook and bake together with my kids.  I love learning how to make new foods. Spicy hot food, curries, soup, rice and vegetables are my favorite dishes. Chocolate, banana chips, and fruit snacks are yummy too.

Here are some other cool facts about me.
