Reading

Each night students are expected to read 30-60 minutes.  Students should complete at least 1 response journal entries during or after reading at night.

Writing

Students should complete the writing assignment started in class that day.  Students are encouraged to complete another entry at home that follows the same form as what was worked on in class to practice further the skill learned.

Math

Students should finish the math assignment in their math journal as well as any worksheets.  If students are finished with both it is strongly encouraged that students read in their Student Reference book the topic studied in class that particular day.  They should read, study the examples and practice the problems under the "Check Your Understanding" section at the bottom of the page, checking their answers in the back of the book.
