Welcome to 1st grade! My name is Malina Xiong. I started teaching in St Paul Public school since 1998. Prior to my position here, I taught at another elementary school in St. Paul. My experience has been in grades one, two, and three. I received my teaching degree from Concordia University and earned a Masters degree from Walden University.    

Aside from teaching, my husband and I have four wonderful children who are the joys of our lives.  We enjoy reading, traveling, camping, fishing, and adventure in general.  When I have time, I love to scrapbook, take pictures, and play silly games with my children.

I consider parents and teachers as partners in a child’s education. I am excited to work with you to provide your child with a wonderful school year full of fun and learning. I look forward to an exciting school year.  It is my hope that you will find this year to be rewarding and successful.
