Ashley Scheinoha

This is Mrs. Scheinoha’s first year as a Literacy Prep Specialist at Battle Creek Elementary. Mrs. Scheinoha has been a Reading Specialist for three years.This is Mrs. Scheinoha’s eleventh year in the district, previously teaching 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade. Mrs. Scheinoha graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. She has a specialization in culturally responsive teaching from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, along with her Master’s Degree in Education. In addition, she recently received her K-12 Reading license through St. Scholastica. When not at Battle Creek, Mrs. Scheinoha enjoys activities outdoors and reading. She also likes to play sports. Mrs. Scheinoha played sports growing up and in college. Mrs. Schenoha grew up in Brooklyn Park, MN. She now lives in the Forest Lake area with her husband, son, and rescue dog. Mrs. Scheinoha promotes a safe, rigorous learning environment where students can thrive and discover who they are as a person, reader, and a learner. She also wants students to feel part of a caring and special school family. Mrs. Scheinoha looks forward to working with you and your child along their education journey!
