At Barack and Michelle Obama, we teach all expected behaviors. Expectations must be explicitly taught, modeled, practiced, and reinforced.

The first six weeks of school are focus on establishing the rituals and routines for our school. We will continue to teach and practice these behaviors throughout the school year. We also focus on community and relationship building as we know that no significant learning happens without a significant relationship.
