In Kindergarten at Hazel Park Preparatory Academy we say, "Learning is our business and Learning is fun!"

We focus on learning many new things, and developing our students socially, emotionally and academically. Students discover that learning to write is fun.  Students learn the alphabet, identify the sounds for each letter and learn new words everyday. Singing counting songs helps us learn more about numbers. We learn about the days of the week, the dates on our calendar and the months of the year.

We provide a developmental appropriate curriculum for kindergartners, by integrating reading, writing, math, science, social studies, music, art and physical activities through out the day to meet the high standards of learning set forth by Saint Paul Public Schools and the state of Minnesota.
